Back Bay Townhouse 7
A gut renovation of a Back Bay triplex reimagined for a family transitioning from suburban living to the city. The design introduces a more relaxed, layered modernity while maximizing storage and functionality for a busy household with adult children. The plan reconfigures key living spaces and introduces extensive custom millwork, including concealed workspaces and multifunctional furniture pieces.
A reworked family room integrates hidden desks and a bar, while the primary living areas prioritize flexibility, organization, and comfort. Traditional detailing was replaced with a softer, more contemporary material palette that still honors the building’s historic character.
