North End Residence
A highly unconventional adaptive reuse project transforming a historic building with layered religious and civic pasts into a cohesive single residence. The renovation combined two units and preserved original architectural fragments including pulpit and steeple elements, creating a loft-like open living environment with defined zones for living, dining, and sleeping.
Custom steel partitions, concealed storage systems, and sculptural millwork define the interiors, balancing openness with privacy. A hidden bar and integrated media elements reinforce the home’s architectural ingenuity.
