Beantown's shopping world is a blend of classic and cool, full of sexy shoes, hip housewares, and bright preppy prints. By Gigi Guerra. Photographed by Squire Fox.

The name of this housewares shop is a phonetic rendering of the phrase "love at first site" in French, and it is truly the kind of place that makes you want to buy something within seconds of passing the threshold. Sleek, modern objects, such as groovy melamine noodle bowls ($24), blend with earthy, textured pieces, like ostrich-print drink coasters ($28 for 4). Owner Kristine Irving also runs an interior decoration business, and her fresh asthetic translates perfectly to the shop.
